Grip replacement is the work every shop lives on. We also replace ferrules, polish and clean heads, and reshaft when a stick is done. Parts are extra where noted. Pickup is $25 for the whole Norman–Newcastle loop.
What we do
Grips harden, glaze, and shrink in Oklahoma heat. Bring your own grips if you already have them, or pick from the eight models we keep on the bench — the ones golfers actually use.
The ferrule is the small ring where the shaft meets the head. When it cracks, yellows, or walks up the shaft, the club looks unfinished and the hosel may be working loose. We pull, recut, epoxy, and turn a clean ferrule so the joint sits flush — often alongside a reset head if the epoxy bond has failed.
Red dirt, Bermuda, and range-mat dust pack into grooves and dull spin. We soap-scrub heads, brush scorelines, and dry the set so it is actually clean — not wiped. Full-set cleaning is the fastest way to make winter clubs feel new in March.
Chrome irons pick up bag chatter and oxidation. A controlled polish brings back that titanium-bright shop shine without grinding the head down. Pair it with a clean and ferrule refresh for a full cosmetic reset. Woods and painted crowns are quoted separately so we do not over-promise a factory paint job.
Need a club shorter or longer? We cut or extend shafts and recut the grip so the club still looks finished.
Broken shafts, loose heads, and that rattle in a driver. We extract broken tips, reshaft steel or graphite, re-epoxy heads, and chase debris inside hollow heads. Shaft and adapter parts are quoted before we start so there are no surprises.

You can provide your own grips. We also stock the eight most common models: Golf Pride Tour Velvet, MCC Plus4, MCC, Tour Velvet Cord, CP2 Wrap, Lamkin Crossline, Winn Dri-Tac, and SuperStroke S-Tech. A typical in-stock grip runs about $8–$18.
